Because of the uncertainty of some transcriptional start sites, the location of these motifs is given relative to the translational start codon. The interleukin 5 receptor alpha (IL5RA) sequence [32] is a relatively strong RFX motif used as labeled probe in binding assays (location given relative to transcriptional start site).
