Calcium ionophore induced the rapid secretion of PGD2, but not PGE2, from MoDCs. A: MoDCs were incubated with the calcium ionophore A23187 (5 μmol/L) for the indicated periods. PGD2 was produced as early as 10 minutes after stimulation and became undetectable after 20 minutes. Neither PGE2 nor PGF2α was detected.
