Lens culinaris lectin blotting of lysosome-enriched fractions (F2) from wild-type mice and mice with α-mannosidosis. Thirty micrograms of F2 fractions from three wild-type mice and three mice with α-mannosidosis was separated by SDS-PAGE and blotted on a PVDF membrane. Glycoproteins were detected by biotinylated Lens culinaris lectin and horseradish peroxidase-coupled streptavidin (left panel). For a loading control, a duplicate gel was stained with Coomassie blue (right panel). Arrows indicate glycoproteins with differences in Lens culinaris reactivity.
