Molecular phylogenetic analysis of the endosymbionts of Curculio weevils on the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequences. A Bayesian tree inferred from 1,180 unambiguously aligned nucleotide sites is shown, whereas a maximum likelihood analysis gave substantially the same topology (data not shown).
