(A) Pancreatic islets isolated from Akita and WT mice at 8 weeks of age were lysed and subjected to immunoblot analysis with antibodies to C/EBPβ. (B–E) MIN6 cells (B and C) and isolated islets (D and E) were incubated with tunicamycin at the indicated concentrations for 6 hours and then subjected either to real-time RT-PCR analysis of Cebpb mRNA (B and D) or to immunoblot analysis with antibodies to C/EBPβ (C and E).
