The nuclease domain of S162 was in obligatory heterodimeric form (Miller et al. 2007), whereas those of the other ZFNs were in wild-type form. Deletion frequencies were measured by two different PCR-based methods. See text for details. Two different deletion clones were used to prepare the standard curve for each deletion event. The data represent an average of three independent experiments, and the standard error of the mean is shown.
