A, Crude extracts from Col-0 or tgg2-2 leaves were incubated with MVP1:GST or GST glutathione-Sepharose beads. Eluted proteins were subjected to immunoblot analysis with anti-TGG1 and TGG2 antibodies. B and C, Gas chromatography was used to analyze hydrolysis products of allyl glucosinolate substrate by 4-week-old rosette tissue extracts. mvp1-1 mutants show significantly increased allyl nitrile production (B) but not isothiocyanate production (C).
