G-quadruplex formation in dsDNAs as a function of PEG 200 concentration. DNAs were derived from human genome by PCR using fluorescent primers, made in 150 mM K+ solution containing various concentration (w/v) of PEG 200 and subjected to heat denaturation/renaturation before native gel electrophoresis. G-quadruplex formation was quantitated as fraction of total DNA.
