Values represent means (n=5) of C pools (mg C per 20 plantlets) and C fluxes (μg 13C per 20 plantlets). Dry weights per 20 plantlets at harvest were 0·38 g and 0·42 g in fertilized and control plants of T. tamariscinum, and 0·42 g and 0·48 g in fertilized and control plants of H. splendens.
