(A) Response of root elongation in Arabidopsis wild-type (Col-0) seedlings to varying concentrations of AlCl3 (A). The lengths of primary roots were measured after the seedlings were exposed to solutions containing 0, 20, 50, and 100 μM AlCl3 in addition to 0.5 mM CaCl2 pH 4.5 for 24 h.
