Correlation of amide 1H and 15N chemical shifts of recombinant human ubiquitin in aqueous buffer with those of the protein encapsulated in a reverse micelle dissolved in pentane. In both cases the protein was solvated by aqueous buffer containing 50 mM sodium acetate, pH 5, and 250 mM NaCl. 15N- heteronuclear single quantum correlation spectra were obtained at 25°C at 750 MHz (1H).
