ThTP (top) and ATP synthesis (bottom) by brain mitochondria are blocked by the same concentrations of the complex III inhibitor myxothiazol. The DTMF was incubated for 15 min in the presence of Pi (5 mm), succinate (5 mm), and various concentrations of myxothiazol. No ThDP was present.
