^aDuring the last phase of data collection, an attempt was made to decrease the burden on subjects by not administering one or both of these instruments at some of the time points. This accounts for most of the missing data in the last 4 patients with generalized anxiety disorder and the last two comparison subjects above. Week 8 data was only missing from one subject, who did not complete the study due to medication side effects.
