Association of the Arp2/3 complex with Cdc42 depends on MCAP2. The MCAP1 fraction (11 μl) was incubated with GST-Cdc42-GTPγS beads in the presence or absence of MCAP2 for 5 or 10 minutes. Proteins bound to the beads were analyzed by immunoblotting with the anti-Arp3 antibody. As controls, MCAP1 and MCAP2 (0.5 μl) also were included on the blot.
