RMSE values in the input pressure plane plotted as a function of the number of abscissas. The input pressure plane is located at z0=0.15 cm (z0=λ) and truncated by a 7.8 cm×7.8 cm (52λ×52λ) window. The input pressure is computed with the Rayleigh–Sommerfeld integral using 2×2 to 10×10 abscissas and with the fast nearfield method using two to ten abscissas.
