CD25-deficient effector CD8+ T cells do not maintain a high proliferative level late in the immune response. Mice were infected with Lm-ova then treated i.p. with 1mg of BrdU every 12 h either on day 4 (A) or day 8 (B) and harvested one day later. Representative histograms display BrdU incorporation in Ova/Kb-specific CD8+ T cells and the right graph shows the mean ± 1 SD for each time point.
