Quantitation of bile salts in small intestinal and cecal extracts from untreated and clindamycin-treated mice was performed as previously described [23]. Data are reported as the mean percentages of total bile salts, with levels of primary bile salts (µM) indicated in the bars and error bars representing the standard error of the mean.
