Pigmented feather germs are now prominent within the periocular region, particularly ventral to the eye. Increased pigmentation is also visible around the external auditory meatus. Faint pigmentation is evident on the feet around the intertarsal and metatarsal joints. No white feathers can be identified at this stage. The beak length is unchanged at 2.0 mm and third toe length is 6.1 mm.
