(a) The Foxp3 promoter region required for c-Rel activity. Deletion mutants of the Foxp3 promoter were analyzed in a luciferase reporter assay as in Figure 2 with or without c-Rel co-transfection. Binding sites for Rel/NFATc2 and Sp1 are indicated. (b) The Rel/NFAT site of the Foxp3 promoter required for c-Rel activity. Wild type and Rel/NFAT site-mutated Foxp3 promoters were analyzed in a luciferase reporter assay as in Figure 2 with or without c-Rel co-transfection.
