PBS or DAS181 (7.5 µg/cm²) was incubated with HAE tissues for 2 h immediately prior to IFV B/Maryland/1/59 infection (10 000 pfu/well). Cellular RNA was later extracted and assayed for apoptosis gene expression. Fold changes of gene expression, from untreated HAE culture, are shown for the genes with changes ≥2.0-fold.
