Table 1.

Mean and standard deviation of the reconstructed μa and μs values in mm−1 for the background and target with LM and GLS techniques using data with 1% noise. The spherical target had a diameter of 15 mm. One set of reconstructed images for the target in the center is presented in Fig. 3. The cylindrical target diameter was 15 mm and extended throughout the imaging domain in the z direction.
