AlphaScreen assay was miniaturized to a volume of 3 µl/well for high-throughput screening. Comparable binding of 20–200 nM b-H3K4me3 (squares) and b-H3K9me3 (circles) peptides to 100 nM GST-HP1β was observed in 384-well (A) and 1536-well (B) plate formats.
