CIRP increases both cytoplasmic and nuclear HuR. MCF-7 cells were transfected with control siRNA (si-ctrl), CIRP siRNA (si-CIRP), pTracer-CMV2 vector (vec), or pTracer-CMV2-CIRP (CIRP). A, Cytoplasmic (cyto) and B, nuclear (Nuclear) protein was extracted 72 hr after transfection and the levels of CIRP and HuR analyzed by western blotting.
