10 mM 2DG inhibits the hippocampal mTOR pathway. A) HFS was delivered to the Schaeffer Collateral pathway of slices that had been incubated in the presence or absence of 10 mM 2DG for 30 minutes. Slices were then subjected to western blot analysis using anti-phospho-Thr389-p70S6K, anti-p70S6K, anti-phospho-Ser235/236-rpS6 or anti-rps6 antibody.
