Severity of hypoxia of Kupffer cells following trauma-hemorrhage or hypoxia. Pimonidazole was injected intravenously before trauma-hemorrhage or hypoxic air inhalation at a dosage of 60 mg/Kg. Upon harvesting, Kupffer cells were prepared as described in Materials and Methods and stained with APC-conjugated anti-F4/80 antibodies and FITC-conjugated antipimonidazole antibodies.
