Phagocytic capacities of isolated Kupffer cells following trauma-hemorrhage or hypoxia. Kupffer cells were isolated as described in Materials and Methods. Following overnight incubation, the cells were cultured with bioparticles for 1 hour and phagocytosis determined as described in Materials and Methods.
