Phylogenetic tree of the deduced amino acid sequences of PaIDS1 and other gymnosperm GPP synthase (GPPS) and GGPP synthase (GGPPS) sequences isolated from P. abies and A. grandis. The program DNA Lasergene (MegAlign) was used to create a neighbor-joining tree. The accession numbers of the sequences used are listed in Figure 2. Not all known conifer GPP synthase and GGPP synthase sequences were included.
