Sample sizes were n = 4, 4, and 24 per treatment for Columbia, Wassilewskija, and Landsberg, respectively. Error bars represent +1se. P values represent a planned pair wise contrast between control and the combined damaged treatments. Differences between the two levels of damage were not significant according to planned pair wise contrasts. We repeated each experiment with similar results.
