Mean ± s.e. weight of settlement-stage A. percula larvae from each of the four parental pairs when reared in sea water treated with approximately 390 (current day), 550, 750 and 1030 ppm CO₂. Newly hatched clutches were divided equally among the four CO₂ treatments and reared until the end of the pelagic larval stage. Each clutch is coded with a different symbol and colour.
