P₁₂, P₂₃, and P₁₃ denote the P values associated with the comparison of the respective hypotheses (see Materials and Methods for details). (H₁) and (H₂) denote the polarity of the comparison; for instance, (H₁) after a P₁₂ value indicates that, in the given comparison, H₁ is significantly more likely than H₂, conversely, (H₂) indicates that H₂ is significantly more likely than H₁.
