A, PCA of gene expression measurements from all genes with sequence-specific hybridization intensity in Tg and non-Tg mice, showing that the Tg does not dramatically perturb gene expression in resting (P1) and activated (P2) B cells; but that B cell activation and Tg-mediated lymphomagenesis result in a similar pattern of gene expression changes. B, PCA of gene expression measurements from 3,342 probesets that vary significantly between resting B cells (P1) and aggressive Tg lymphomas (P5) shows that the patterns of gene expression that are activated upon lymphomagenesis and upon B cell activation have both similarities and differences. The number in parentheses on each axis is the fraction of the total variation in gene expression that is accounted for by each principal component.
