Pale arrows indicate variants with minor allele frequency (MAF) < 0.05 and dark arrows indicate variants with MAF > 0.05. The numbering of cSNPs corresponds to the start codon, ATG. Detailed information about each variant is presented in Table 1. Positions in the human MPDZ sequence homologous to 18 sites in mouse Mpdz sequence associated with variable propensity to alcohol-withdrawal seizures are indicated by *. Detailed information about each of these positions in the cDNA sequence is presented in Table 2.
