Body masses of adult female dormice (mean ± SEM) during the supplemental feeding experiment. Since their body mass did not change during this time we took the mean body mass of those we captured more than once. Neither reproduction (F = 0.700, df = 1, P = 0.422, N = 13) nor the supplemental feeding (F = 0.853, df = 1, P = 0.377, N = 13) influenced their body mass. N = 7/2/4. Note that there were no non-reproductive adult females in the supplemental feeding area
