The Epithelioid GIST shows euchromatic nuclei and have prominent skein appearing nucleolus with rich filopodia-like cytoplasmic processes. The cytoplasmic processes are interdigitating each other. Electron dense cytoplasmic granules, favor lysosomes, are frequently seen, which may be confused with neurosecretory granules.
