Red and yellow indicate amino acid substitutions that are likely to destabilize the coiled coil, whereas green indicates a mixed effect and cyan indicates putative stabilizing changes. The oval highlights residues that are predicted to form a salt bridge in a κ/κ coiled coil but would be destabilizing in the κ/α isoform.
