Constant fraction discrimination (CFD) of preamplified signal used for calculation of the event timing. The CFD is used in order to eliminate the influence of the amplitude of the signal on the measured value on time. The zero crossing is calculated from interpolation between two points surrounding x-axis. Markers show the digitized values with 60 MHz ADC, which are used in the digital signal processing.
