Subsumption is indicated by a directional arrow; equivalence by a bidirectional arrow, and disjointness by a dotted arrow. Cardinalities are shown next to each property. (a) shows the classes and properties of the ontology; (b) shows individuals belonging to each ontology. The ontologies themselves and graphical notation are based on an example in [14], modified to illustrate multiple inheritance, compound property domains, disjointness, multiple cardinalities, and individual matching.
