Circulating blood lymphocytes were analyzed by flow cytometry in IPAH and control subjects. Patients with IPAH have a significantly higher percentage of CD45RA+CCR7- CD8+ T lymphocytes (left box) and a significantly lower percentage of CD45RA+CCR7+ CD8+ T lymphocytes.
