Predicted scleral canal expansion at the anterior and posterior laminar insertions (ALI and PLI, respectively), due to an IOP elevation of 35 mm Hg as a function of the laminar material constant A in monkey 2. Expansion of the scleral canal at the PLI was always greater than at the ALI and was more sensitive to the stiffness of the lamina. The contralateral symmetry of mechanical response for scleral canal expansion was evident.
