In the tertiary screen, the 5,000 SH-SY5Y cells were seeded in 96 well plates. The cells were treated with 33 agents at the higher concentration and 18 agents at the lower concentration identified to be active against NB cell lines from the secondary screen, and the cell viability was measured 72 hours after the drug treatment. Compounds inhibiting growth by at least 40% were considered effective as indicated by a dashed line on the bar graphs. A. Percentage of the live SH-SY5Y cells 72h after the treatment with 33 agents at the high concentration; B. Percentage of the live SH-SY5Y cells 72h after the treatment with 18 compounds at the low concentration. The data shown is a mean representative of the three independent measurements.
