aThe number of courses with students participating in GEP research projects is grouped by various characteristics. Class size is the number of students enrolled. Organization is the class type: stand alone courses are courses focused on GEP material; lab section of a broader course are courses that use GEP material for a section of a broader biology course (e.g., genetics, molecular biology). Hours is the estimated number of total hours spent in class on all GEP-related activities, including lecture, lab, discussion, and work time. The colors shown are used to identify sample implementation strategies and curricula in the Table of Faculty on the GEP website (http://gep.wustl.edu/wiki/index.php/Table_of_Faculty).
