Chl a/b ratio was determined by fitting of the spectrum of the acetone extract with the spectra of the individual pigments (28), PSI/PSII ratio was calculated using a μs resolution pump-and-probe spectrometer (30). LHCII trimers/monomeric PSII core ratio was calculated from the PSI/PSII ratio and subunit pigment composition.
