The values were calculated from fluorescence kinetics of thylakoid membranes by removing the PSI contribution in four ways: using the ratios of the DAS at 700/680 nm or 720/680 nm, and using the PSII DAS of either 251 ps or 532 ps (for WT the results of each of these four calculations are shown in Table 3). From the four calculations the average fluorescence lifetime (τ¯avg) and standard errors of the mean (in brackets) were calculated. See text for details.
