Procarboxypeptidase B activation reconstituted in a ZG and Mic fractions is dependent on cytosol and ATP. Immunoblot assay demonstrating that carboxypeptidase B (CP-B), the active form of procarboxypeptidase B, is generated in both ZG and Mic fractions with added Cyt and further enhanced by ATP.
