Structure-activity relationship of triacylated lipopeptides of HEK293 cells transfected with bovine, human or murine TLR2 alone or in combination with respective TLR1. HEK293 cells were transfected with (A) bovine, (B) human or (C) murine TLR2 alone (black bars) or in combination with the respective TLR1 (grey bars). Cells were stimulated for 24 h with 10 ng/mL TNF-α and 100 nM of the indicated lipopeptides. Length of the ester-bound fatty acids increase from left to right. IL-8 production was measured in the supernatant. Values are means ± SD of n = 2 and represent the result of at least 3 independent experiments.
