Overview of the 4-step process by which the CircAdapt MATLAB systemic arterial components were extracted and merged with the UW CV model. 1: Extract relevant procedural CircAdapt code and encode in functionally equivalent JSim MML code (results shown in Figure 3). 2: Derive a SemSim model from JSim version of CircAdapt Systemic arteries model. 3: Use Protégé Prompt plug-in to merge SemSim models and replace original CV systemic arterial (SysArt) components with CircAdapt systemic arteries. 4: Use SemSim Coder software to automatically generate executable JSim MML code from the merged model (results shown in Figure 4).
