Transcripts were quantified by real-time PCR using total RNA prepared from A. nidulans cultured at 30°C for 6 and 12 h under normoxic and hypoxic conditions. Ethanol and glucose served as carbon sources. Data are normalized to the β-actin (actA) transcript and are shown as relative expression ratios (hypoxia versus normoxia). Data are means of results of three experiments. Standard deviations were <25%. P < 0.05.
