A. and B. Peroxidase activity of Prdx6 with oxidized liposomes (100 µM total lipid) in the presence of πGST is indicated by oxidation of NADPH in the coupled assay with GSH/GSH reductase. A. MS (1 µM) was incubated with Prdx6 for 45 min at room temperature prior to assay. B. Prdx6 was incubated in the absence or presence of a 2-fold molar excess of MJ33. C. and D. Measurement of binding of Prdx6 to oxidized liposomes as indicated by DNS-PE fluorescence emission ratio (415/505 nm) using the protocol shown in Fig. 5. C.
