Embryoid bodies (EBs) were formed and cultured for up to twelve days. Cell samples were collected from undifferentiated cells as well as from EBs on day four, eight and twelve of differentiation and cDNA was prepared. Conventional reverse transcriptase PCR was used to test for marker gene expression indicative of formation of all three germlayers.
