Truncation of the Mpp10 protein impairs processing at sites A1 and A2 in the pre-rRNA. Total RNA from strains bearing full-length MPP10 or the truncations, mpp10–1 and mpp10–2,was resolved on a 1% formaldehyde-agarose gel.
